We want to say a big thank you to all the amazing volunteers who helped us clean up the Sensory Garden. Your hard work really made a difference, and we had a great time working together!

As spring 2025 is here,  it's time to start again. We need to prepare the garden for planting, maintain the plants, combat weeds, and harvest the fruits of our labour. Looking forward to see you to our Community Days!

Testimonials

“I wanted to thank you once again for your generosity in meeting with me yesterday. Not only are the farm and sensory garden beautiful, but it was so impressive to hear how you have planned this out and navigated all the issues, from partnering with a commercial enterprise, working with local regulations and working through issues around support and engagement at the farm.

As the first care farm in Canada for people living with dementia, I think you should celebrate the wonderful model you have opened, and hopefully it will pave the way for many more to follow.”

Meaford - First Satellite Location for Green Care Farms

Our team had the privilege of supporting (and celebrating!) the open house of our first satellite location in Meaford, Ontario.
Jessica and John, the leaders of Meaford GCF, hosted their open-house on Saturday, September 7th. We had a wonderful turn out of community members who ventured into the light rain for tours of the lovely farm site. Jessica and John have put so much work and heart into their farm and it shows!
The day was filled with beautiful field views, ripe pear trees, and lots of community warmth.

We are so have been able to support Jessica and John in this exciting endeavour, and look forward to seeing their program come to life in the Spring of 2025!

Please share this opportunity with any loved ones living in Grey County!
